Bridging the Insights Gap
With the launch of the eNaira on October 25, 2021, Nigeria became the first country in Africa to introduce a digital currency.
Having achieved the first phase of the launch which focused on banked users, the second phase which borders around fiancioal inclusion is set for take-off soon.
To this end, the Central Bank of Nigeria says Nigerians can now conduct transactions using designated USSD code on any phone using a designated code.
