Bank of Ghana using data to close gender financial inclusion gap – Central Banking

The Bank of Ghana is using new data systems to help improve financial inclusion among women.

Speaking at an event earlier this month, governor Ernest Addison said the central bank has set up a gender-disaggregated data portal that collects data on digital finance.

“Over the years [the portal] has attracted several Alliance for Financial Inclusion member central banks to Ghana,” he said.
